Ask Silenus Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ask Silenus, a sophisticated chatbot developed by Liminal UI Inc. Ask Silenus leverages advanced language learning models, including technology from OpenAI, to deliver personalized product recommendations. By accessing and utilizing Ask Silenus, you ("User" or "You") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Ask Silenus.

Liminal UI Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of Ask Silenus signifies your acceptance of any amended Terms.

Account Registration

To access and use Ask Silenus, you may be required to create an account ("Account"). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your Account and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activities that occur under your Account. You agree to notify Liminal UI Inc. immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account. Liminal UI Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

License

Liminal UI Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Ask Silenus strictly in accordance with these Terms.

Content and Ownership

Ask Silenus enables users to receive personalized product recommendations by generating content through the use of various sources, including but not limited to OpenAI's technology. The content generated by Ask Silenus is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement of any product. Liminal UI Inc. and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted in these Terms, including copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights.

Transactions

Any transactions made as a result of Ask Silenus's recommendations are solely between you and the third-party vendor. Liminal UI Inc. is not involved in such transactions, nor does it bear any responsibility or liability for the products or services offered by third parties.

Prohibited Activities

You are prohibited from using Ask Silenus for any unlawful purpose, or any other purpose not expressly allowed by these Terms. This includes, but is not limited to, copyright infringement, invasion of privacy, or the transmission of any malicious or harmful content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Liminal UI Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Ask Silenus, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liminal UI Inc., its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of Ask Silenus, including, but not limited to, any use of Ask Silenus's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms or your use of any information obtained from Ask Silenus.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of Ask Silenus shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Liminal UI Inc. is registered, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
